Designation : Gas chromatography Analyst (Executive)

Qualifications : MSc. in Analytical Chemistry preferably in Chemistry.
Experience : 1-5 years working with analytical instrumentation.
Skill :
* Ability to work directly from the USP or EP pharmacopeia and execute methods.
* Experience working in contract Laboratory is considered an asset.
* A solid background and understanding of Chemistry is mandatory
* Experience working with Pharmaceuticals
Job Overview
Reporting directly to the Department Head - Chemistry, the Analyst will be responsible for providing basic technical support and analysis within the Pharmaceutical Chemistry Testing Laboratory.
The Analyst will have over 3 to 5 years of laboratory testing experience with demonstrated ability to complete role/duties that are more complex. Has handled a variety of instrumentation for analytical testing and will be able to work independently with minimal/no supervision.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Participates in general lab duties, including clean-up, administration, logbook review, and operations support.
• Ensure that work is performed in compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP), standard operating procedures (SOPs), and the current test method.
• Writing SOPs
• Perform analytical tests utilizing GC and other laboratory instruments.
• Perform other departmental tasks such as cleaning, supply ordering, assisting with instrumentation training and maintenance, etc
• Documentation: Ensuring accurate reporting in lab books.
• Sample preparation and Mobile phases preparation.
