Responsibilities:
�� Lead and manage Machine Shop operations.
�� Plan and execute production schedules efficiently.
�� Expertise in CNC, VMC, and HMC programming.
�� Strong knowledge of cutting tools, fixtures, and auto gauging.
�� Proven track record in new product development.
�� Excellent communication and leadership skills.
�� Having knowledge of the Machining Process in CNC/VMC, HMC & part setup.
�� Knowledge of Machine Shop Machining Drawing reading/understanding.
�� Ability to promote team working culture and demonstrate team ethics;
�� Overall management of the machine shop
�� Assessing potential using CAD, simulation, and offline calculation to cost new parts and responding to sales team members with estimated production cycle times.
�� Programming of CNC machines for new parts using a graphical interface.
�� Overseeing trials of new parts and documenting processing parameters.
�� Working with the Quality Manager to establish quality control and packing plans for new parts.
�� Lead a team of supervisors and operators including allocating daily/weekly tasks to the team.
�� Assisting operators with set up of jobs on machines, but ultimately training and mentoring operators to be self-sufficient with support from the training manager.
�� Providing technical input on matters such as tooling selection, processing parameters, work holding, processing sequence, finishing and packing.
�� Carrying out staff appraisals, supervisions and return to work meetings.
�� Ensuring that the team remain in date with mandatory training.
�� Carrying out spot checks to ensure quality levels.
�� Ensuring acceptable levels of Overall Equipment Effectiveness are achieved.
�� Organizing Preventative maintenance and cleaning of machines according to manufacturer��s guidelines .
